  2. Hi Amit!
I really like your diverse use of colors, really shows all aspects of Mesoamerica. However I do think you should've tried making the title and key stand out because black and blue don't work well with each other. One thing Egypt (the society I did my head on) and Mesoamerica have in common is an established social class structure, and one thing they differ from each other is that our pyramids are pointier. I would like to know what the image with PLEASE says on the bottom, because iPad cameras are bad.

  4. Como estas, Senior Amit! I really liked your broad selection of pictures, i thought that showing actual pictures with the addition of some Mesoamerican art was helpful in understanding the then-and-now. I also like how your pictures are large and clear. However, I'd just like a point a few things out: I liked the pictures inside your history head, they were great in fact, but they didn't fit in the head exactly, you probably already knew that though...Anyways, I also noticed how the picture you have in the top right corner of your poster is slanted (I'm assuming that this is the timeline as the picture is not so great), and it seems you ran out of room with your other pictures being so large. And lastly I believe the cutting out of your pictures could have been slightly more precise and that the white borders you have on there make it look a tad less clean than it could be. I noticed that you have a picture of a Mesoamerican pyramid on your poster, and that was similar to the Egyptians in the way that they also made pyramids even though they look a little different. Something different between the two societies we did our projects on was the climates: In Egypt, the places away from the Nile were very dry while in Mesoamerica there was much more green. And Finally, I'd like to know why you chose a printed version of the timeline as opposed to drawing it out.

  5. Hey Amit!
I thought your poster was really great because of the large images you included. These pictures really caught my eye and made it more interesting. Next time I think you should include a timeline and your poster would be that much better! One similarity between China and Mesoamerica is that they both preformed human sacrifices. A difference between the two is that corn was the major crop in Mesoamerica, but corn was never cultivated in China. One question I have is what does the picture at the top left represent? And what theme does it connect to and how?

  6. Hi Amit,
I thought that your poster was very good in terms of the pictures you used. Some of them were very symbolic and were original in their use. As for criticisms, your poster left something to be desired when it came to a timeline. Use of one would have made your poster better to understand when it came to time period, which is especially important in Mesoamerica because they developed much later. One thing similar between Mesoamerica and Mesopotamia is their polytheistic religions, which developed on opposite sides of the world. One thing that was different was the main food crop in both the societies. While maize was the main food source in Mesoamerica, Mesopotamia relied on wheat. What was the picture inside the head with the person crying?
